From the May 11th, 2002, 1-Day Java Intro HandsOn, Online, On-the-phone Workshop
|

It was a great day. I really enjoyed it.
Getting comments, suggestions, and help
from teachers all over the country was fun
David did a great job presenting and he was
very patient answering our questions.
I spent time after the workshop and got all
the labs working. On Monday I will show
the students the Maximum Surprize.

I enjoyed the Conference Call workshop.
It was an interesting experiment, and
I find that this is a good format for
Computer Science and probably any
workshop where you are learning
new skills.

I found the experience very worthwhile. I was frankly
somewhat skeptical about how much might be accomplished
in a single day, and online. I am happy to say my doubts
were groundless. At the end of the day I was very tired
but quite satisfied the day had been well spent.
The online discussion was handled well.
Your slides are well done and well structured for ease in learning.
My thanks for your time and efforts.
